Space of Tranquility: A Majestic Blend of Neoclassical European Style

Creating a Harmonious Living Space with Dignity

The Space of Tranquility project, designed by Pei-Chun Hsu, is a testament to the idea of environmental protection and creating a better living space. The design aims to harmoniously integrate humans and nature, emphasizing the importance of sustainability and well-being. By implementing a combination of European style and dignity, the space exudes elegance and charm, creating an atmosphere filled with abundant sunlight and indoor light.

One of the unique features of this design is its neoclassical European style, which adds a touch of grandeur and sophistication to the space. The use of white as the main color tone further enhances the overall aesthetic, creating a sense of purity and tranquility. The artistic and aesthetic lines throughout the space outline the elegant taste of the design, making it a visually stunning and inviting environment.

Not only does the Space of Tranquility prioritize aesthetics, but it also focuses on the well-being of its occupants. The design incorporates various technologies and materials to ensure a safe and healthy living environment. Anti-formaldehyde emulsion is used throughout the space, while energy recovery ventilation systems remove PM2.5 particles, ensuring a continuous circulation of clean indoor air. The sleeping area features green eco-friendly wallpaper made of diatomaceous earth, which automatically regulates indoor humidity and moisture, improving the overall quality of the living space. Additionally, the use of solid wood, a natural and eco-friendly material, adds to the longevity and sustainability of the design.

With a total area of 172 square meters, the Space of Tranquility offers a spacious and comfortable living experience. The design seamlessly integrates natural materials and modern European aesthetics to create a harmonious and inviting atmosphere. The use of European-style iron screens in the foyer, elegant wall padding, and plain stone materials with horizontal original texture on the TV wall all contribute to the overall aesthetic appeal of the space.

Despite the creative and technical challenges faced during the design process, Pei-Chun Hsu successfully created a space that combines exquisite and gentle humanity and culture. The open dining area, adorned with archaistic stone material made of diatomaceous earth, presents a unique blend of modern European style and aesthetics. The bedrooms, designed in a hotel-style fashion, exude a sense of fashion and texture reminiscent of high-end business hotels.

The Space of Tranquility project was completed in January 2015 in Hsinchu County, Taiwan. It is a testament to Pei-Chun Hsu's dedication to creating a harmonious living space that respects both humans and nature. This design has received recognition for its excellence, being awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2021 in the category of Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design. This prestigious award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements, contributing to a better world.
